Help with NoviPDF

NoviPDF is a document scanning app that allows you to scan documents, recognize text, create and edit PDF files, organize documents in folders, and share them from your iPhone. Scans offer Document, Color and Photo modes, with manual corner correction when needed.

Subscriptions

NoviPDF currently includes five free document saves. Further saves require NoviPDF Pro. Available purchase options, prices and any subscription periods are shown in the app before purchase. Apple handles payments; RevenueCat manages purchase status and access to Pro features.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings:

Restore Purchases

If you already purchased Pro access, use the same Apple Account used for the purchase. Open NoviPDF → Options → Restore Purchases. If access is still unavailable, contact support with a description of the issue. Never send passwords or complete payment details.

Scanning and PDF files

Place the page on a contrasting surface, keep all four corners visible and hold the iPhone steady. Avoid glare when scanning screens or packaging. If no useful outline is found, take the photo and adjust the corners in the page editor.

Choose Document for a cleaned grayscale result, Color for color documents or Photo for photographs. If content near an edge is missing, review the corners and the “Remove dark scan borders” setting before making another scan.

Check the destination selected for automatic export. Files exported to iCloud Drive or another provider depend on that provider's availability and synchronization.

Support Requests

When contacting support, please include your device model, iOS version, NoviPDF version and a short description of the issue, including the steps that led to it. A screenshot can help, but please hide personal or confidential information before sending it.
